Robot Programming

At Automation Solutions and Robotics we have a passionate team that lives and breaths everything robotics and continually immerse ourselves in the latest developments among robot palletisation, robotics and automation and everything to do with Fanuc robots. If you’re on the look for a company that can take full reigns of your robot programming requirements then look no further as we specialise in this area and take great pride in delivering the best offer possible. We mainly carry out our robotics programming services on new Fanuc robotic cells and have extensive experience in doing so for various clients during our time operating. We have also been fortunate enough that while servicing a diverse range of clients we have worked with recommissioning our clients existing robots to run new applications on both Fanuc and Kawasaki. The fascinating features of Fanuc include the iRVision which is an integrated vision package and allows further flexibility to just about any robotic automation solution. Because we have been given numerous opportunities already to have worked on projects utilising machine vision, we are in a strong position to suggest the best robotic programming and automation option that will allow you to fulfil all your robotic automation requirements. Understanding robotics and automations means having a deep understanding of the software involved for a successful implementation and how allowed us to appreciate the Fanuc Roboguide that works as a simulation software package that is offered by Fanuc that allows for streamline of the design process and an optimisation to the robot cycle path and location of equipment to maximise floor space and cycle time.

Robot Palletisation versus Conventional Palletisation

As we move into a more digital age businesses are beginning to consider more and more the benefits that robot palletisation can bring to their business. While this happens business will begin considering all their options options when it comes to automating their palletising system. At some point business can likely hit speed bumps in their search or like we’ve witnessed they will hit a fork in the road as to which direction they choose to go in with their system. More often than not we see business tied up between choosing to go with a robotic or adapt a conventional system. We have firsthand seen some factors that businesses have considered when deciding on either application. As robot palletisation systems are known for taking up less space on the floor, this has been the deal maker in quite a few instances. Robot palletisation also allows for an ease of programming to adapt to different pallet patterns and product types which is fantastic as a businesses offering can change over time and you don’t want to be stuck with an old, useless system in place. A conventional robot palletiser can handle weight of up to one thousand kilograms and offers abilities to handle various product types from cases, bags, pails, bottles through to scrap metal and even plastic containers. Robot palletisation systems also offer scope to simultaneously handle up to twelve SKU’s which is at the forefront of it technology capabilities. Conversely a conventional system is considerably easier to troubleshoot and operate without formal training however shortcoming include handling of only up to three SKU’s simultaneously.
